Olivia's Nursery

We finally finished (except for a couple of pictures I want to hang that will have to wait until we have newborn pictures of Olivia) the nursery. I absolutely love how it turned out! It took Dustin a couple of days to paint but I think it was well worth all the time and effort.

This is looking in her room. You can see the corner of her changing table on the right and part of the closet door. On the left is her dresser.

The changing table and shelf (the pink tubs are full of toys!). I want to take a picture of her and put her name, birthday, time, weight/length on it and frame it in a big white frame and hang it above the changing table.

This is her dresser. It was what we used for Grace while we were in Okinawa. It was pretty ugly so we had it hidden in the closet. When we moved here Grace got the larger dresser and my brother painted this one to match Olivia's furniture. It looks brand new! I made the little cover for the top (and in the process made Grace a little blanket for her baby dolls). I want my brother to paint a canvas to match the bedding to hang above the dresser.

And this is the crib. A friend of ours made the letters for a shower gift. I love them!! I think the letter "V" is my favorite because of the little bird that matches the bedding :-) They are NOT sloping to the right, it is just the angle of the picture.

And I just love her bedding! The pink part of the quilt and bumpers are super soft. The teddy bear has a recording of Olivia's heartbeat inside.

And this is her closet door. Above the door is the vinyl decal I had made that says
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness,
temperance: against such there is no law.
Galatians 5:22-23"

I am still looking for something to put in the shadow boxes hanging above the glider. And I am going to put her picture in the frame on the shelf to the right of the crib.
